    Tree Coral

Lithophyton arboreum

This Tree Coral was the first coral I acquired for my tank. It was originally about 3 times this size. My tank started leaking and I had to remove everything to correct the problem. When this coral becomes stressed, it can subdivide, which this one did. There is another small piece which survived and they are both doing well and growing.

Tree corals prefer bright light and medium water flow.  They grow rapidly and are very easy to care for.
